About the role

This is a full-time Finance Officer role at Concrete Sleeper Retaining Walls Brisbane' based in Hemmant, QLD. In this position, you will be responsible for handling the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping, and providing support to the wider finance team.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger transactions
• Processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as required
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the ongoing development of the finance function

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in an accounts officer or finance clerk role, ideally in the construction or manufacturing industry
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record keeping
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
