Accounts Allocations Officer

  • Horsley Park | Parking on site
  • Varied shifts between 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Global brand | $40 per hour + Super

The company

Our client is a leading service provider to the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industry. An opportunity has become available to join their National credit team in a key allocations and reconciliations role.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Supervisor, your responsibilities will include however will not be limited to

  • Download bank statement from ANZ portal, review and allocate customer account numbers with payment receipts and format file
  • Upload customer EFT Payments in Oracle
  • Reconcile daily credit card surcharges
  • Reconcile VISA/Amex batch payments received, upload payment receipts/allocate in Oracle
  • Follow up remittances advices with customers
  • Reconcile receipts daily, follow up with Customer Service on duplicate payments, Over Payments and refunds.
  • Process direct debit payment requests
  • Process auto credit card payments, upload credit card payment file to CyberSource
  • Reconcile all direct debit/credit card received payments
  • Prepare and submit refund forms
  • Submit customer remittances for all payments allocated daily
  • Review/reconcile unapplied report daily
  • Create In House Bank Reconciliation file daily, reconcile all cash movements by manufacture and balance to Cash in Bank figures
  • Month End/Daily Reporting to clients/Head Office

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes;

  • Intermediate Excel skills working with large volumes of data
  • Driver's license and own car - this position is not accessible by public transport
  • Able to work towards deadlines with competing priorities
  • Previously worked within a general accounts position for approximately 1-2 years
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Ability to work within a cohesive team and a positive attitude are non negotiable!
