Junior Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their tax status.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a professional accounting office.
• Proficiency in MYOB AE and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Progress towards or completion of CPA or CA certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong customer service orientation.
