We are looking for a senior tax accountant to be a partner in a few years

This is a full-time on-site role for a Partner Material Tax Accountant located in Parramatta, NSW. The Partner Material Tax Accountant will be responsible for handling tax compliance, tax preparation, and ensuring accurate tax reporting. Additionally, the role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

The tax accountant will be running the firm together with the continuing partner in a small team environment

Qualifications

Strong skills in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax Reporting

a minimum of 5 years practical experience in preparation of BAS and tax returns for small to medium businesses

SMSF experience will be a bonus

Relevant professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent

Our clients are mainly small business owners operators except one multinational food wholesaler and a family office with a few businesses and investments

We have been the chief tax advisers for some general practitioner doctors, specialist doctors, lawyers, builders, developers, physiotherapists, pharmacists, optometrists, senior managers for larger corporations, wealthy self-funded retirees….etc.,
