About the Role…
You will be responsible for a range of systems and tools, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, network equipment, server and desktop virtualisation, storage, and backup/recovery systems. You’ll also take part in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and critical incident management, with occasional after-hours work required.

What you’ll be doing…

• Manage SSL certificate lifecycle, including procurement, installation, renewal, and troubleshooting, to ensure secure and uninterrupted operations
• Implement, manage, and support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and Wi-Fi.
• Oversee datacentre operations, servers, and storage systems.
• Manage server and desktop virtualisation environments using VMware and Citrix.
• Maintain Active Directory (on-premise and Azure) and identity management systems.
• Support desktop environments, focusing on user experience.
• Ensure system backups and facilitate recovery processes when needed.
• Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Provide second-level support for escalated issues.
• Create and update documentation for systems and processes.
• Actively participate in infrastructure implementation projects.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out with a strong focus on security.

What You Bring…

• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting multisite IT solutions.
• Expertise in Cisco networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere and Citrix technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server, SCCM, and PowerShell scripting.
• Proven ability to document systems, processes, and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Experience managing projects and engaging stakeholders effectively.

Technical required…

• ITIL, CCNP, VCP, or MCITP certifications (highly regarded).
• Cisco Call Manager and IP Phones.
• Citrix Cloud, XenApp, and Citrix ADC (Netscaler).
• Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange Server, and clustering.
• Windows 10, Office 2016, and Teams.
