The Opportunity

We are seeking a competent, reliable Mechanical Fitter/Hydraulic Technician to join our expanding team, based in Naval Base, WA.

You will be required to work well within a team environment as well as autonomously completing assigned work scopes.

Your Skills and Qualifications

You would be expected to:

Advanced knowledge in hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic components.

Experience with drilling reaming and bearing surface scraping.

Experience in alignment of drive shafts, bearings, pulleys, drive chains, gear boxes etc.

Read and interpret drawings of various detail.

Be willing to assist in apprentice training and supervision as required.

Be a confident tradesperson with a good understanding of industry requirements.

Have an excellent understanding of general machining practices

Essential

Own transport and hold a current C Class WA driver's license.

A Relevant Trade Certificate

Working at Heights

Forklift License

Pass site health and drug tests

Permanent Australian resident
