Workfast is looking for a Mechanical Fitter for a valued client based in Wangara, WA.

Our client operates in over 25 countries, has over 3900 employees and produces over 106,000 products.

• $65.00 Per Hour + Penalties
• Monday - Thursday 5.30am - 01.30pm, Friday 5.30am - 11.30am
• Immediate Start
• Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

What you need:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - MANDATORY*
• Manual Driver's License
• Experience with repair and maintenance of industrial gearboxes or rotating equipment
• Experience with any of the following: Lightnin mixers, Fitting bearings, Gears, Setting End-Floats/Pre-Loads, Setting Backlash, Using Dial Indicators, Micrometers
• All other tickets/licenses helpful

What you will be doing:

• Stripping and assessing gearboxes and pedestal assemblies
• Rebuild and assembly of new gearboxes
• Painting and packaging
