Mechanical Fitter needed in Osborne Park for long-term role, paying $48ph with regular overtime available

I am working with one of Hays' biggest clients to find a number of Mechanical Fitters to help they're growth. My clients are nationwide and based here in Osbourne Park.

Your new role

In your new role, your duties will include but not limited to:
Preventative maintenance, assembly, installs, maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment. You will work with metal, using tools and techniques to fabricate, repair and modify machinery and equipment. This will include assembling components according to blueprints, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and fixing issues while making improvements for better performance.

What you'll need to succeed

Mechanical fitters

• Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
• Inventory management.
• Minimum 3 years of proven trade experience post apprenticeship
• Industrial (high volume) food processing experience, particularly frozen foods
• Knowledge of ammonia-based refrigeration systems
• Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints
• Ability to develop and document Standard Operating Procedures
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) Preventative Maintenance Programs (Mex, PC Maint)
• Have full understanding of HACCP, BRC, WQA

The role is potentially long term, and you will receive up to $48ph + super and regular overtime.
