Location: Hybrid – Work from home + occasional in-clinic meetings (Gold Coast or Brisbane)
Type: Part-Time (30–38 hours/week) | 12-Month Contract

CBT Professionals is a leading private psychology practice with three busy clinics across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. We’re a team passionate about improving lives, and we’re now looking for a capable and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our vibrant and supportive admin team.

About the Role
We’re offering a full-time position initially (up to 38 hours/week) with the understanding that, as you become faster and systems are streamlined, the role may reduce to 30–32 hours/week.
This is a 12-month contract, as we anticipate introducing automation in the next year which may reduce the ongoing hours required for this position on-going.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable – Invoicing, receipting, account reconciliation, and follow up accounts receivables

Accounts Payable – Managing supplier payments, tracking expenses, and reconciling bank and credit card transactions

Payroll – Preparing Gold Coast and Mt Gravatt payrolls on alternating weeks involving paying admin wages through MYOB, and reconciling clinician’s income and actioning Direct Debits for payment of clinician Service Fees to the company.

Supporting general finance administration, reporting and compliance tasks

About You:
✅ Solid MYOB experience; MYOB Teams for timesheets
✅ Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
✅ High attention to detail, ability to work independently, excellent organisation and problem solving skills
✅ Excellent communication and a team-player mindset
✅ Bonus: Experience in healthcare, allied health or psychology practices
