Customer Connect - Invoicing Officer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Connect Invoicing Officer to join our team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely billing of regulated Alternate Control Services (ACS) and Basic Connection Services (BCS). You will work closely with internal teams, external third-party service providers, and end customers to maintain invoicing accuracy, address billing enquiries, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Your expertise will directly support the organisation's operational effectiveness in both the Billing and Credit functions, ensuring strong revenue management and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate invoices in accordance with published ACS and BCS charges, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely billing and prioritisation of invoicing tasks to support cashflow and revenue recovery targets.
• Investigate and resolve workflow exceptions and coding discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending process enhancements.
• Manage, negotiate, and resolve customer and stakeholder billing enquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Support broader network billing and credit activities, including processing billing adjustments and managing exceptions.
