Due to an increase in demand, we have a vacancy for a Customer Service Representative at our Reservation Centre in Southbank Full time.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, customer service focused and able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in the Car rental industry in a customer facing role is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Handle customer queries, bookings, and confirmations via phone and email in a clear, professional manner

Assist customers in booking car and truck rentals, modifying existing reservations, and ensuring accurate details for all rentals

Check and confirm the availability of vehicles and provide customers with up-to-date fleet rates and rental options

Work with internal departments and locations to meet customers’ needs

Promote and sell Avis and Budget products and services

Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts and documents regarding rental agreements

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism and accuracy

Provide high level of customer service

Minor Administrative and data entry Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the car rental or automotive sector is highly desirable.

Proven experience working in a call centre or customer service environment, handling inbound calls and resolving customer issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable using booking systems, email platforms, and other office software for data entry and communication

A genuine passion for providing excellent service and ensuring a positive experience for every customer

Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues and other departments when needed
