About the Role

We are seeking a number of talented Accountants to join our growing team. These roles will be responsible for delivering accurate tax compliance work and management accounting support while contributing to our reputation for outstanding client service.

You will report to a Client Manager and play a key part in supporting clients and internal teams through high-quality work and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing end of year financial reports for individuals and businesses

Preparing monthly and quarterly business activity statements for multiple businesses

Supporting senior accountants with tax research and analysis

Reviewing and analysing financial statements for tax compliance

Answering client enquiries relating to tax compliance and bookkeeping matters

Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring databases are updated accordingly

Collating and filing documentation for client records

Staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations

Assisting with ad-hoc tax-related projects and administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Tertiary qualification in accounting

At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a public practice firm

Experience in specialised areas such as Trust Account auditing and reporting is highly desirable

Strong working knowledge of Xero and related cloud accounting tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and organisational abilities

A team player with a professional approach and a proactive mindset

Remuneration

$60,000 to $75,000 per annum based on a 38-hour week plus superannuation.
