About the role
This is a full-time role based in Penrith, NSW for the Hix Group, a leading multi trades company. As the Electrical Projects Estimator , you will be responsible for managing the estimation aspects of the company's electrical projects, ensuring their successful delivery.

What you'll be doing

Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for Electrical projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements

Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to optimise efficiency and profitability

Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues or challenges

Continuously seeking ways to improve estimation and operational processes to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in electrical estimation, preferably within the commercial or industrial construction sectors

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

Proficient in the use of Electrical estimating software and other relevant tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders

Qualified NSW Electrician
