Delhi Rocks Pty Ltd, a buffet styled Indian restaurant located in Melbourne CBD is looking to employ 2 full time qualified and experienced INDIAN CUISINE CHEFS to manage their busy kitchen.

Salary $73,500

To be considered for this role you must have;

Australian Trade Certificate 3, 4 and Diploma in Hospitality

Minimum 3 years full time Australian experience (or equivalent) working in a busy Indian kitchen cooking traditional Indian cuisine

Preference will be given to applicants having knowledge and experience in Indian cuisine

Experience in planning menus, developing recipes, preparing, cooking and maintaining food quality

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Instruct cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Select and train kitchen staff

Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely.

Ability to maintain a COVID safe workplace.

May need to work varied shifts as also on weekends.
