The Opportunity:

As Business Development Officer – Energy & Infrastructure, your role will focus on fostering connections, building relationships, driving development opportunities, and supporting TSBE’s strategic goals. With a background in energy, infrastructure, or related sectors, you will enhance TSBE’s influence and contribute to regional productivity and sustainability.

You will engage stakeholders, expand networks, and collaborate effectively to deliver impactful programs. This dynamic role includes membership growth, linking members to opportunities, and overseeing existing projects aligned with TSBE’s objectives.

Key Duties:

Connect members with opportunities in Energy & Infrastructure.

Grow TSBE’s membership base through outreach to organisations.

Explore emerging sectors and investment possibilities to benefit the region.

Manage and deliver strategic projects with clear milestones.

Facilitate workshops to build business capabilities.

Collaborate with regional stakeholders to support funding proposals and member priorities.

Required Skills:

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Knowledge of current trends in Energy & Infrastructure and the Toowoomba and Surat Basin region.

Proven record in business development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Operational flexibility to adapt to emerging challenges and opportunities.

Leadership and strategic thinking in business development.

Networking skills to connect members and stakeholders effectively.

Expertise in enhancing business capabilities and fostering economic growth.

Qualifications:

At least 3 three experiences in a similar role

Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management or relevant fields
