Our valued State Government client is looking for 2 x Business Analysts to join their Customer Services Strategy Program team. This team was team has been established within to deliver several initiatives to drive the Queensland Governments service delivery agenda.

As an integral part of the team, your responsibilities will include: -

  • Build and manage robust relationships with business stakeholders, effectively gathering requirements to drive solution development through clear and efficient communication.
  • Analyse complex problems, establish priorities, and provide actionable solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Assess feasibility and urgency of enhancements, designing specific tasks for their implementation to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulously high-standard documentation of business requirements, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Work collaboratively with application developers and other technical teams to ensure that customer requirements are thoroughly understood and met.
  • Lead engagements, including meetings and presentations, to communicate ideas and findings effectively to a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Analyse current business processes to identify areas of improvement, communicating these potential changes as necessary.
  • Monitor deliverables compellingly, ensuring timely completion by liaising with various stakeholders to reach business acceptance and signoffs.
  • Define and manage the scope, requirements definition, and prioritisation for initiatives, accommodating large-scale projects and complex scenarios.

To be considered suitable for the role you will have the ability to:

  • Capability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in documenting and managing business requirements across a range of business situations.
  • Engage constructively with both technical and business stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder input and prioritise requirements effectively, with a focus on aligning business objectives with technical solutions.
  • Establish and maintain requirements baselines, securing formal agreement and ensuring traceability throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses and articulate recommendations for systemic improvements.
  • Participate actively in agile team dynamics and contribute to change engagement activities, demonstrating a positive attitude towards evolving business needs.
  • Communicate in a succinct and considered manner, adapting to changing expectations and emerging business requirements positively and proactively.

These roles offer a competitive hourly rate, an initial 2-months assignment with a possibility of an extension and an opportunity to be part of a progressive collaborative team!
