Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent support staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector.
Our clients are well respected Medical, Allied Health and Educational Specialists who are actively seeking an experienced (1 year+) Medical Receptionists to join their Milton based team. Flexible commencement date for the suitable candidate. However, this position is also available for an immediate start.
This client values children and treat each child as individual and important. Our clients specialise in helping children through wisdom, knowledge, efficiency, advocacy and effective care. They also recognise that each child’s situation is unique, respecting the central contribution of family, and considered in the context of each child’s particular environment, such as their school and existing support networks. Therefore we are seeking a Receptionist with similar values and appreciation of the individual needs and care requirements for each child and their family/carers.
This role is integral to the running of this established and vibrant practice and would suit an applicant who has worked in Medical Administration with an understanding of patient booking, billing processes and appointment management protocols. This role is full-time (38 hours per week) specifically within hours of Monday to Friday 7.45am-5.30pm (earliest and latest shifts). Parking is not available but can be sourced at $ 12/day. Train and bus readily available to this location.
Skills required:
Best Practice or similar software experience preferable, but not essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a small team
Committed to being an integral part of our team, assisting with various admin tasks as required
Motivated and willing to learn new skills in a Specialist setting
Ability to perform front desk duties (meet and greet patients; manage incoming calls and appointment bookings; email correspondence) as well as assisting with all general patient enquiries.

Remuneration: $ 34-36+/hr negotiable (dependent on experience).
