We are seeking a motivated, customer service focused, dental receptionist to join our dynamic team at Dr John Michalopoulos Dental.

Established in 1996, we are a modern, digitalised practice, with Itero scanner and OPG onsite

Previous experience in this industry is essential. This role will be best suited to a well organised person who can multitask, pays attention to details, and can prioritise their workflow within a busy practice.

Hours are 7.15am to 5pm Monday to Thursday only. ( equates to 37 hours per week)

This is a permanent part time position. No late nights, Fridays or weekends.

Our practice is conveniently located near train, bus and light rail stations.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, representative of our practice values of quality dental care.

Responsibilities:

- Greeting patients and handling all daily reception tasks

- Communicate with laboratories and specialists

- Manage appointments, and patient treatment plans

- Process payments ( HICAPS)

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Provide support to our practice manager, and clinical team to ensure patient care.

- Adhere to compliance with dental software and systems, all safety and infection control protocols.

- Order office supplies and stationery as required

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a dental reception role

- Prior experience as dental assistant, or having clinical knowledge preferred

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure

- Proficiency in dental software Dental 4 Windows / Dental 4 Web

- Certificate in Dental Assisting or similar qualification preferred but not essential
