Are you passionate about supporting people through person-centred, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approaches? We’re expanding our team at Bridge to Understanding and are seeking caring, creative professionals to join our warm and inclusive environment.

We are currently welcoming expressions of interest for part-time, full-time, and sub/contractors and contractor roles in the following areas:

Allied Health Assistants

Speech Pathologists

Continence Nurses

Occupational Therapists

Child & Family Counsellors

Psychologists (General or Provisional)

Registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners

We are also look for an:

Admin Assistant (experience with NDIS essential) Part-time 10-20 hours a week

About Us:
Bridge to Understanding is a values-led practice based in Northern Tasmania. We are proudly NDIS registered for Therapy, Early Intervention and Positive Behaviour Support. Our philosophy is simple: connection before intervention. We’re grounded in strengths-focused methods that prioritise emotional safety, trust, and relationship. We will consider applications from people residing in all states and can discuss sub-contracting and part-time/full time arrangements.

We’re Looking for People Who:

Are registered or eligible (e.g., AHPRA, SPA, ACA, PACFA, or equivalent)

Have a strong interest in person-centred and ethic practices

Are aligned with trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practices

Value family-centred, strengths-based intervention

Can work independently while contributing to a team culture

Hold or can obtain WWVP Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and ABN/insurances (for contractors)

We especially welcome applications from professionals with:

Experience in early childhood, family counselling, behaviour or disability

Creative, flexible thinking and a love of play, sensory tools, or movement

Willingness to travel

We will also consider applicants from other states who are self-motivated and self-starters
