$54.34 per hour + salary packaging | Registered Nurse (On-road) - Grampians Health at Home
Permanent Part Time | 16 hours per week
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Grampians Health at Home team, delivering high quality, person centred cancer care in patients' homes. Working closely with the Cancer Day Unit (CDU) at BRICC, this role plays a key part in providing safe, specialised oncology treatment and supportive care in a home setting. The position offers the chance to work independently while being supported by a small, dynamic team committed to improving outcomes for people undergoing cancer treatment. You will contribute to service development, patient education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the delivery of exceptional community based care.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive, patient centred clinical assessments
• Deliver cancer care and symptom management in home settings
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals
• Support patients and families through education and advocacy
• Ensure safe practice using technical equipment and protocols
• Document interventions and contribute to care planning
Skills and experience
• Registered Nurse (Division 1) - AHPRA registration
• Post-grad qualifications or strong experience in Oncology nursing
• Proven clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and travel within the community
