Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our new Sydney Distribution Centre located in Moorebank. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a background in the stone, surfaces or building materials industry who thrives in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, storage, order picking and dispatching stone slabs.

Operate and manage material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, jib attachments and slab clamps to handle engineered stone products safely.

Implement and uphold workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and ensure all staff adhere to compliance standards.

Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and conduct routine stock takes.

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics including container scheduling, unloading and warehouse space management.

Manage subcontractors and delivery drivers ensuring they comply with safe handling practices.

Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure warehouse readiness and compliance.

About You:

Minimum 5-year experience in a warehouse supervisor or warehouse operations role.

Experience in the stone industry or construction materials (quartz, granite or natural stone surfaces) are highly desirable.

High attention to detail and ability to safely manage slab handling operations.

Valid forklift license and proven experience with slab clamps, jib attachments and A-frame/Slab Rack storage systems.

Strong understanding of WHS compliance, manual handling standards and safe work procedures.

Competent with inventory management systems ideally with ERP or WMS exposure.

Ability to work independently and in a team with a hands-on leadership approach.
