Our public sector client is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Management Officer (PMO) to join their Infrastructure and Assets division. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to significantly impact the organisation's project management capabilities and contribute to its overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive Project Management Framework (PMF).
  
  
• Assist in the design and roll out of the Project Management system, including TechOne.
  
  
• Provide specialist project management support to the broader project community.
  
  
• Manage the development, monitoring, refinement, and reporting of Council's capital works program.
  
  
• Lead a team tasked with the roll out and ongoing provision of project and program management services to internal stakeholders

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, applicants should demonstrate:

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., bachelor's/master's degree, PMP certification, engineering or equivalent).
  
  
• Proven experience in developing and/or enhancing project management frameworks, policies, tools, and capability-building initiatives.
  
  
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  
  
• Experience with capital delivery programs, stakeholder management, and effective benefit/risk management practices.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support teams to achieve successful outcomes.
