This Sydney based role will be the lead Finance business partner for ANZ. It will work closely with the GM and local commercial leaders to support business strategy. It is a highly visible role, is part of the APAC Finance team and is supported by offshore transactional teams. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead for all ANZ financial responsibility and be part of a truly global team.

Reporting to the APAC Finance Head and with dotted line to the ANZ GM, you will lead all finance activities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and effective cost management. You will contribute with your vision of the business, supporting long-term planning, resource allocation, and decision-making, while improving processes and internal controls. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading statutory reporting, compliance, and corporate requirements (tax, audit, accounting).
• Influencing strategic decisions to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Owning financial planning and analysis.
• Reviewing systems, processes and continuous improvement activities to enhance business goals and capabilities.
• Supporting APAC and global reporting.
• Owning system review and updates.
• Managing global/local projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualifications in Finance, Accounting or ideally CPA/CA qualified.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial governance and management reporting.
• Exposure to global reporting, plus tax and audit preferred.
• Proven track record of managing complex budgets and driving financial performance in a commercial environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling; Power BI preferred.
• Experience in global and highly regulated environments, partnering with sales, marketing and clinical/technical stakeholders.
• Systems/process rigour, complex ERP experience preferred.
• Experience partnering in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices Industry advantageous.
