Primary Objective and Duty Statement

Responsible to the Managing Director and General Manager for the management and control of joinery fitout and furniture projects and related activities.

This will include planning and co-ordination of entire project processes, design resolution, estimating, budgeting and financial management of projects people management.

You will work closely with other team members s well as the workshop and drafting teams.

You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of systems and procedures necessary for ensuring the continuous improvement of our operations.

Some specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

· Review design drawing for projects and direct drafting of shop drawings

· Plan & manage projects, processes and schedules

· Manage contractual requirements of projects including OHS & reporting

· Site measuring and use of the Flexijet measuring tool. Training to be provided by Elan.

· Financial management, budgeting & planning of projects

· Assist in the continuous improvement of administrative systems

· Estimating and sourcing of outsource materials and costs

· Liaison with outsource partners, sub-contractors and suppliers

· Communications with workshop personnel to assist with drafting & production coordination and resolution

· Oversee quality and ensure all works have been inspected for highest quality & completeness during and after installation.

· Liaise with and manage relationships with clients, designers & builders

· Liaise with the management team, production manager and project managers (PMs) to understand frequently changing priorities and requirements.

· Coordinate project needs and installation teams with other PMs

· Promote and ensure the highest quality of our product.
