Murphys Plumbing Services specialises in large-scale civil pipework for water, sewage, storm water, and gas projects. We currently have two projects running in the Southern Highlands, working on upgrading local Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Experienced Excavator Operator located in Moss Vale, NSW. As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment (5T & 22T excavator) to perform excavation tasks, including trenching for pipework and earthmoving. Daily tasks will include routine maintenance of equipment, ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, and adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.

*Plumbing experience highly desirable

Qualifications

Relevant certifications or licenses for operating heavy equipment and machinery - excavator SOA & VOC is requirement

3+ years experience in Trenching

Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance

Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
