About the role:

Equipped Civil are looking for highly experienced and self-motivated Civil Excavator operators to join our growing team.

To be successful in this role you will have experience;

• digging around underground assets in Civil Construction
• operating 2-20T excavators efficiently and safely
• in digging around infrastructure specialising in electrical, communications, storm water and sewer
• running and completing tasks without supervision.

This role is not suitable for operators wanting to operate over 20T excavators and those with experience only in bulk excavation.

Skills and Experience

• Must have demonstrated civil construction experience, tickets, white card and qualifications
• Experience with digging around underground assets
• HR License Minimum, MC desired
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Skills in reading site plans, marking out surveys, and setting levels/lasers
• Current First Aid & CPR desirable
• A hard-working, positive can-do attitude and good work ethic
• Excellent knowledge of workplace health and safety.
