About Us
AGP Plumbing & Gas is a fast-growing plumbing company servicing Ballarat, Geelong and Western Melbourne. We specialise in energy upgrades, gas servicing, heating/cooling, and general plumbing.
We’re expanding quickly and are looking for a reliable, proactive Admin Officer to support the team. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly — managing invoicing, compliance, communication, and scheduling support.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone with strong admin experience (ideally in trades or construction) who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a growing local business. You’ll support both the Director and our Operations Manager with all the behind-the-scenes admin needed to keep the team moving.
We’re open to applicants based in Ballarat or Western Melbourne, provided you can work in person during the week. Some flexibility (e.g. school hours) may be available once you’re trained.
Key Responsibilities
Create and send invoices in Xero
Upload compliance certificates (VBA and electrical)
Monitor email inboxes and respond to job-related queries
Input and update job details in Tradify
Upload job documentation, and photos
Track bills, accounts, registrations, and receipts
Ensure all licences and compliance documents are up to date
General admin tasks
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in admin (trades or service-based industry ideal)
Strong Xero skills (required)
Familiarity with job management platform- Tradify
Excellent communication and time management
Able to work independently and keep things moving
Must be based in Ballarat or Western Melbourne and available to work in person
