At Wangaratta Sports & Aquatic Centre (WSAC), we’re more than a gym or pool — we’re a hub of connection, wellbeing, and community spirit. We’re on a mission to grow our membership, strengthen partnerships, and ensure every visitor feels seen, supported, and inspired.

We’re looking for a customer-focused, business-driven Membership and Engagement Officer to help us nurture our 2,500 members, build meaningful community relationships, and play a vital role in our goal of becoming Victoria’s Premier Regional Sports & Events Precinct.

Manage and support over 2,500 members with a warm, professional and proactive approach

Drive membership growth through creative promotions, strong follow-ups, and personalised experiences

Build partnerships with local businesses and organisations to support health-focused community initiatives

Respond to general enquiries and member feedback — fast, friendly, and always helpful

Self-motivation, team spirit, and a genuine passion for making people feel welcome

A background or interest in health, fitness, or recreation is a bonus

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

Be part of a supportive, passionate team that puts people first

Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities

Work in one of Victoria’s most vibrant regional communities

Enjoy free gym and pool memberships, access to the Employee Assistance Program, and free parking

Help shape the future of one of the state’s leading regional sporting facilities
