We’re currently partnering with a leading Australian business in the building and construction materials industry to source an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for a 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, national organisation known for its strong values, collaborative culture and commitment to excellence.

The Role

You’ll be working as part of a supportive and high-performing Credit and Receivables team, responsible for supporting the accounts receivable function. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing debtor accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments via email;
• Allocating and reconciling incoming payments;
• Following up on overdue accounts and resolving customer queries; and
• Investigating and supplying missing invoice details.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in an accounts receivable role, ideally within a high-volume environment;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; and
• Able to start a new role immediately and commit to an initial 3 month contract.
