You’ve been a foreman or site manager for a few years, and you are tired of working with dodgy builders who don't pay on time or produce quality work. You hate cutting corners, and you want to feel proud of the projects you are delivering.

You’re keen to get the opportunity to run your own show, impress the clients on site and work with high quality subbies on challenging and diverse projects.

Working for a fitout builder who’ve been around 13 years you’ll deal directly with the owners and the PM and decisions will be made fast. Your voice will be heard.

Safety is integral here, and doing the right thing for their staff and clients is at the heart of what they do. You won’t be cutting corners or delivering rubbish projects.

With excellent, repeat clients and no staff let go during the tough times of COVID you’ll be secure in your role, and the pipeline of work is big.

The role is only available as a site manager is leaving after 7 years to go and do something different in his life. The other 6 SM’s have been there 3-8 years each, so it’s a place that you stick around.

Perks wise you’ll get a salary package of $160-$200k package plus a yearly bonus based on the success of the projects that you’ve been working on. Be rewarded for your hard yakka.

About you

You’ve been working on construction sites for at least 5 years as a foreman or SM. You may have a trade, or you may have got into construction through another avenue. It doesn’t matter.

What does matter is that you can confidently run your own projects, you can communicate well with subbies and the client as they typically have high expectations (especially at the university sites)

You’ll need experience of delivering fitout projects around the $5-$10 million mark ideally though smaller than that will also be considered.
