Due to newly awarded projects, Buildon Construction is seeking a Site Manager with a proven background on either commercial or industrial building projects, who are interested in a fresh new change & challenge, joining an expanding business with the opportunity to grow with the business.

Project is located in Katanning WA and will require living away with agreed Perth return on weekends; along with set work / life balance time. - Duration of this Project 12 months.

All accommodation and LAFA provided

Projects typically span in the $5-$20m value range.

Site Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a proven track record / delivering projects and lead the site.

All site management responsibilities; coordinating with the Project Manager & wider delivery team, managing sub-contractors, trades & equipment, HSEQ etc. in a well-rounded role.

The preferred candidate will come from a trade qualified background.

THE ROLE

• Manage on-site works of projects from initial site set up to completion.

• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.

• Oversee the project site, plant & equipment are maintained and in working order

• Effective cost control and running of projects to meet project deadlines and budgets

• Coordinate direct labour, labour-hire and subcontractors.

• Liaise with Subcontractor Supervisors to ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities.

• Complete project progress reporting and weekly meetings.

• Provide advice on any technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable)

• Drive problem-solving and lead in developing innovative solutions

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in maintaining and promoting health and safety in the workplace

• Previous experience in building and facade projects

• Frontline management experience

• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines

• Proven communication skills and previous leadership experience

• Current Driving Licence

• Expertise in site management and delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals

• Trade certification and/or construction management qualifications
