Kedron-Wavell Ltd operates 3 Clubs in Brisbane, comprising Kedron-Wavell (Chermside), The Sands Social, and The Sands Bowlo (Sandgate).
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Events Salesperson to join our team on a part time basis. As our Event Salesperson, you will be responsible for proactively generating and converting leads for all 3 venues. Reporting to the Events Manager, you will work closely with our talented Events team to increase the number of new and returning bookings.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a master of customer service, a wizard on the phone, and a natural at building relationships. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for sealing the deal.
A few of your responsibilities:
Proactively acquiring new business along with maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing clients for inhouse events to ensure repeat business.
Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients to help them in their venue and catering journey.
Completing sales appointments, proposals, meet and greets and follow-up of all client interactions to ensure client satisfaction.
Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and relationship building.
Meeting clients at their premises or our locations and attending network events and annual showcase events.
Deliver strong and effective communication across multiple stakeholders.
About you:
Minimum 2 years' industry sales experience with a real passion for events.
Experience within the hospitality/hotel/events or catering industry is essential and experience in corporate or large-scale event sales in a client facing role would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of the social market and trends within Australia.
You will be able to demonstrate solid sales experience with a record of achieving targets.
Flexibility to attend required networking events when required.
Flexibility in working days depending on the needs of the business
