Giglio’s Fresh Chickens is a Poultry Abattoir located in Bonnyrigg, NSW. We are seeking a hands on Production Supervisor to join our managing team at our Chicken Processing Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Engage, lead, motivate and develop your team through effective people management strategies ensuring overall site objectives
• Drive performance on a daily basis across the further processing facility ensuring delivery on time sensitive production deadlines
• Ensure that the labour cost base is the most productive and efficient
• Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded as required
• Manual handling duties where required
• Train employees; provide consistent feedback on areas in need of improvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Fork Lift License / (MR License beneficial but not essential)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum (4) years experience within a Processing Plant
• Demonstrated one (1) years’ leadership experience
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal staff
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
