We’ve just begun a new chapter at Woodrow Kilns! After recently moving to the Illawarra, we’ve settled into a newly renovated facility in Dapto—a modern workspace that’s as fresh as our ambitions. With heavy investment in cutting-edge equipment like a 6 kW laser sheet and tube cutter, 7-axis CNC pressbrake, CNC router, and 3 kW laser welder, we’re pushing Australian manufacturing to the next level. But we’re not stopping there— As we rebuild our team after the move, we’re seeking a Production Supervisor to lead with excellence, inspire a tight-knit crew, and thrive in a role that values your career and family life.

As our Production Supervisor, you’ll report directly to the owner-operator, giving you real influence to shape our workshop’s future. With a rotating 9-day fortnight, you’ll enjoy long weekends every other week to spend with family or explore the Illawarra’s beaches and trails—work hard, live well, and stay local.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the Charge: Oversee daily production in our advanced workshop, keeping everything on track and on time.

Master Innovation: Harness next-gen tools—6kW laser cutters, 7-axis CNC pressbrake, CNC routers, and laser welders—to deliver world-class results.

Shape the Team: Inspire and mentor a crew of 8-10 trades, fostering a culture of skill, safety, and pride.

Drive Excellence: Fine-tune processes and ensure top-quality outcomes, every time.

What You Bring:

Trade Expertise: A qualification in fabrication, assembly, construction, boilermaking, sheet-metal, or similar—you know your stuff.

Leadership Excellence: 3+ years managing workshop teams, with the ability to jump in and get your hands dirty when needed.

Tech Skills: Familiarity with sheet-metal equipment, plus proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MRP/ERP software.

Safety Smarts: Strong grasp of Australian WHS standards —you keep everyone safe and sound.

People Power: A knack for motivating teams, solving challenges, and maintain a cohesive atmosphere
