About the role

Are you an experienced Sales Manager with a passion for weddings and events? We are seeking a driven and charismatic individual to join our team at Kirra Beach House as the Sales Manager - Weddings and Events. This is a full-time role based in the heart of Kirra Beach, QLD 4225, reporting to the General Manager and playing a pivotal part in the growth and success of our renowned wedding and event venue.

What you'll be doing

Proactively manage the full sales cycle for wedding and event enquiries, from initial contact through to contract signing and post-event follow up

Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to attract new wedding and event clients

Liaise with the Operations team to ensure seamless planning and delivery of weddings and events

Cultivate and nurture relationships with key industry partners such as wedding planners and event stylists

Prepare comprehensive proposals and contracts for clients

Attend networking events and industry functions to promote the Kirra Beach House brand

Provide weekly sales reporting and forecasting to the leadership team

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales or event management role within the hospitality/tourism industry

Proven track record in successfully selling wedding and event packages

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Proficient in using Ivvy Booking system and Microsoft Office suite

Passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional customer experiences

Working with the General Manager to generate new business opportunities
