About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a Study Lead to join the Studies and Programs team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in progressing major capital projects through the feasibility and detailed design phases, with individual project values exceeding $250M. These projects encompass large-scale civil infrastructure, non-process infrastructure (NPI), and critical services to support mining expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of large work packages from detailed design through to execution and handover

Coordinate cost, quality, safety, schedule, and risk in line with standard project frameworks

Oversee feasibility works such as client scoping, design reviews, carbon strategy, and data collection

Develop and implement package delivery strategies including tendering and procurement

Lead construction, QA/QC, contractor supervision, commissioning, and lessons learnt

Engage with stakeholders across operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and consultants

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience leading civil, NPI, or electrical scopes through early study and project delivery phases

Engineering qualification preferred

Demonstrated track record of managing multi-discipline construction projects within mining or heavy industry

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities

Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement
