About the Opportunity

Join one of Western Australia’s most well-known and respected, Tier-1 mining owners’ team. Based in Perth on a 5:2 roster, you’ll be part of our clients Studies & Programs team, supporting two sustaining capital projects totaling over $250M in value. These projects are in the Feasibility Phase and involve:

Major civil & earthworks (road networks, drainage, floodways)

NPI & services infrastructure including production hubs, service facilities, autonomous refuelling stations, water infrastructure, and 220kv power infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

As Study Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned packages, from detailed design through to execution and handover:

Lead feasibility phase activities: options analysis, site investigation, risk reviews, technical assessments

Develop and implement delivery strategies, including procurement, tendering, contract management, and execution planning

Manage cost, quality, schedule, safety, and stakeholder engagement across all phases

Coordinate commissioning, asset readiness, and lessons learned

Work closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and maintenance

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience leading major infrastructure packages through early phase studies and delivery

Broad Civil package experience in mining or heavy industry (Earthworks, concrete packages, drainage, access roads, Non-process infrastructure, tailings, pipelines etc.)

Engineering qualification preferred

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Commercial acumen, problem-solving mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement

Location & Roster

Perth-based during Feasibility Phase

Ad hoc site travel required during design and study phases

Frequent site travel expected during Execution and Commissioning
