Our Client, a Federal Government Agency is seeking to engage Multiple Administrative Support Officers to join their team for a long-term program of work.

Our client is seeking candidates that are:

  • Motivated self-starters with experience assessing responses against a framework, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work at pace on repetitive tasks with a high attention;
  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, including coordinating with senior executives and the Minister's office. This includes strong stakeholder management abilities, such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and promptly distributing them;
  • Efficiently handles multiple tasks and meets deadlines. Tracks and follows up on action items, assists in rafting presentations, and supports other duties as assigned;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint). Shows commitment to personal and professional growth and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience required for this opportunity:

  • The successful candidate will be highly organised, must manage competing priorities, work independently or in a team, and collaborate across the APS and industry. Experience in similar roles is highly advantageous. The candidate must possess highly developed communication skills to correspond with all levels of government across all agencies and will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating meetings;
  • Experience taking and distributing minutes, tracking action items, drafting presentations, and maintaining registers for risk, decisions, and issues. The candidate will also provide general administrative support to the team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and evidence of continuous personal and professional growth. Include certifications, participation in professional development activities, and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
