The Opportunity

We’re seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Study Director – Toxicology to join our Brisbane team in the future. In this key scientific role, you’ll lead the design and conduct of GLP-compliant rodent toxicology and pharmacokinetics studies. You’ll manage study teams, liaise with clients, and ensure delivery of high-quality, regulatory-ready data.

What You’ll Do

As Study Director - Toxicology, you will:

Lead GLP-compliant toxicology and pharmacokinetic studies

Design study protocols and oversee planning, execution, analysis, and reporting

Provide scientific and operational leadership to a team of scientists

Communicate with clients to ensure project objectives are met

Maintain quality and regulatory compliance, contributing to audits and continuous improvement

Ensure safe and effective lab operations

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A degree in science (toxicology, pharmacology or pharmaceutical sciences preferred); PhD highly regarded

Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience, including 3+ years as a Study Director in a GLP environment

Proven expertise in rodent toxicology/pharmacokinetic study design and management

Strong project management and leadership skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A high standard of laboratory safety, planning and quality awareness

Experience in client-facing roles and team supervision

Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory standards (e.g., OECD GLP)
