Available Roles

1. Director of Studies (English)

Salary: AU$3,400 per fortnight (before tax) + Super

Role Overview:
Lead the English teaching team and oversee the delivery of English Language programs as part of the Offshore VET Teacher Program. This leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on educator to maintain high standards of teaching and ensure program outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee delivery of English Language qualifications

Provide mentorship and guidance to teaching staff

Ensure compliance with Australian VET standards

Liaise with local stakeholders and partners to support program delivery

Monitor and support student outcomes and learning quality

2. English Language Teacher

Salary: AU$3,200 per fortnight (before tax) + Super

Role Overview:
Deliver engaging and impactful English Language training to international students. You'll play a key role in fostering English proficiency from foundational to advanced levels.

Qualifications Delivered:

Certificate I in Fundamental English for Speakers of Other Languages

Certificate II in Routine English for Speakers of Other Languages

Certificate III in Advanced English for Further Study

Duties:

Provide 35 hours per week (includes teaching, admin, and support)

Deliver face-to-face training in a structured classroom environment

Support students’ language development and progression

Maintain teaching resources, assessments, and records

The Successful Candidates (Applicable to both roles)

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)

Relevant qualifications in English Language Teaching or a related discipline

Experience in Vocational Education, preferably including offshore or international delivery

Strong subject matter expertise and classroom delivery skills

Demonstrated ability to achieve educational and project outcomes

Current Police Check

Must meet visa eligibility requirements (under 60 years of age if a work permit is required for China)
