Our client is a strong market leader within their industry, providing high quality products and services to both residential and commercial markets.

Due to growth, we are searching a highly motivated Sales Representative with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their team. The role of the Sales Representative will require you to work autonomously and is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and the satisfactory delivery of products and services. You are accountable for exceeding targets, proactive client management, forecast accuracy and driving conversion of sales opportunities with customers and prospects across the Newcastle and Hunter region.

The role:

• Actively drive sales through following up of sales leads, build and manage a sales pipeline to ensure targets are achieved and accuracy of sales forecasts
• Identify client needs to ensure suitability of product and ensure their needs are met
• Prepare and follow up on quotes
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and products to enhance customer value and retention
• Maintain CRM of potential and existing clients ensuring all records/documents are maintained and accurate
• Maintain technical, product and market knowledge

What we’re looking for:

• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Minimum 3 years sales experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self motivate with a strong desire to achieve
• Ability to identify client needs and solution sell
• Ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
• Strong computer skills
• A current driver’s licence
• Full Australian working rights
