Position Available: Accredited Practising Dietitian

An exciting opportunity has become available to join one of Townsville's busiest and most dynamic private allied health practices. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Accredited Practising Dietitian with a passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care across a diverse caseload.

Our practice has strong, long-standing partnerships with healthcare providers across the region, supporting a wide variety of clients through in-clinic and outreach services.

Key Clinical Areas Include:

Chronic disease management via GP referrals (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, obesity)

Nutrition support for gastrointestinal conditions (e.g., IBS), allergies, and general health

Veteran and Defence client services (DVA)

NDIS participants (plan-managed, self-managed, and agency-managed)

Pre- and post-surgical nutrition care

Rural and outreach services, including trips to regional Queensland and Palm Island

Private consultations and Medicare-subsidised plans

Preventive health and wellness initiatives

Workplace health and corporate wellness (as applicable)

About the Role:
While the role is primarily clinic-based, it also offers the successful applicant the opportunity to participate in outreach services to rural and regional areas, including Palm Island.

You’ll be joining a fun, supportive, and vibrant multidisciplinary team that includes exercise physiologists, diabetes educators, and physiotherapists.

This role is suitable for both new graduates with strong initiative and organisational skills, as well as experienced clinicians transitioning from hospital or other private practice settings.
