We are a well-established residential construction company based in Canberra, specialising in insurance-related repairs, reinstatements, and rebuilds. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to play a key role in the coordination and support of our day-to-day operations.
This is a diverse and hands-on position ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing a broad range of responsibilities across administration, finance, scheduling, and communication. You will work closely with our directors, site teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflows and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily administrative functions, including scheduling, document management, and client communications
Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation
Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and insurers to ensure timely project updates and material procurement
Support quoting processes, follow-ups, and report submissions
Assist with HR documentation, onboarding, and WHS compliance systems
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ Proven experience in office or operations management, ideally within construction or insurance building
✔ Proficiency with administrative, finance, and WHS software systems
✔ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
✔ A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
✔ Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
