About the role

Impetus Media is seeking a talented Media Executive to join our dynamic team in North Sydney. As a Media Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing targeted media strategies that drive business growth for our diverse range of clients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of Impetus media services.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive media plans, including the selection of appropriate media channels, negotiation of media buys, and management of media campaigns

Serve as a contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong professional relationships

Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify the most effective media strategies for our clients, both off and online

Present reports and dashboards to clients, highlighting key performance metrics, campaign

pricing details, traffic trends, and valuable insights

Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation

Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and vendors to secure the best value and placement for our clients

Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data and ensure the accuracy and

completeness of reporting information

Support the wider media team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a media planning or buying role, preferably within an agency environment

Strong understanding of the media landscape, including the latest trends and technologies in traditional and digital advertising

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Passion for the media industry and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest developments
