Our client is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to work closely with the Director in a hands-on, detail-focused role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who values stability, precision, and autonomy, and who thrives in a trusted, low-ego environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day transactional accounting and reconciliation
• Managing trust distributions and dividend payments
• Capturing and recording financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy
• Assisting with tax compliance and preparation
• Coordinating with external accountants on trust taxation matters
• Managing administrative and company secretarial requirements
• Ensuring payments to shareholders and family entities are accurate and timely
• Consolidating financial data and handling shared dividend splits
• Lodgement of corporate forms with ASIC
• Maintenance of shareholder registers and preparation of share transfer documentation
• Ensuring compliance with Corporations Act obligations and governance frameworks

Skills :

• CPA / CA qualified
• Experience working in public practice or family office environments preferred
• Knowledge of taxation law will be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of trust structures, taxation, and compliance
• Task-focused, calm under pressure, and highly dependable
• Enjoys routine, precision, and taking ownership of the details
• Excellent communicator who understands discretion and confidentiality
