About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guides to join our growing team. We offer flexibility with casual hours (1–3 tours per week) and the opportunity for a longer-term role for the right person. Tours depart from Brisbane City and run for approx. 11 hours per day.

This is your chance to be part of a passionate team, leading small groups through stunning landscapes, sharing knowledge of local culture, history, and wildlife, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive guests in our 12-seater tour vehicle from Brisbane to North Stradbroke Island.

Deliver engaging and informative commentary about the island's history, culture, and nature.

Lead guided walks and wildlife spotting at key sites such as Point Lookout, Amity Point, and local beaches.

Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the day.

Complete basic vehicle checks and clean the vehicle after each tour.

Post tour highlights on our social media accounts (training provided).

Encourage guests to leave reviews and feedback.

About You:

Full QLD Driver’s License (clean record).

Driver’s Authority (or willingness to obtain).

Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Excellent communication and people skills.

Safe driving skills and local knowledge.

Experience in eco-tourism or public speaking desirable.

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Passion for nature, wildlife, and sharing knowledge.

Fluent English essential; French language skills highly regarded.

Pay & Conditions:

Casual employee contract under the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award (MA000080) – Grade 2.

Paid fortnightly.

Monday – Saturday: $30.10/hr first 8 hours, $36.12/hr after 8 hours.

Sunday: $42.14/hr.
