Join Our Team – Tour Guide Wanted!

Daintree Discovery Tours, a well-established and proudly Port Douglas owned and operated tourism business, has been delivering unforgettable experiences in the Daintree Rainforest since 2005. We’re now on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team in a casual capacity, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time role after a qualifying period.

With 2025 shaping up to be a busy and exciting year, we’re seeking someone who genuinely loves the outdoors, has a strong passion for the environment, and is ready to get started straight away. This role involves both driving and guiding our guests through the breathtaking Daintree Rainforest — from leisurely walks and interpretive talks to swimming in pristine rainforest creeks.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

A current Queensland Driver Authorisation

A valid Light Rigid (LR) licence

Solid knowledge of the Daintree Rainforest and passion for the local area (on the job training will be provided)

Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humour

Most importantly, the ability to create an outstanding, memorable experience for our guests
