We are sourcing multiple roles ranging from Payroll Officer, Senior Payroll Officer and Payroll Lead positions for organisations across the south-eastern to CBD areas.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a collaborative and supportive Payroll team, key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Monitor the accuracy of all payroll, position and leave related data in the payroll system to ensure data integrity for management and external reports.

Interpret and stay up-to-date with changes to Enterprise Agreements and Awards to ensure accuracy of pay.

Updating and maintaining payroll records.

Process fortnightly and month pay including permanent and casuals.

Contribute to payroll system upgrade and improvement projects.

Leave, tax, superannuation and termination pay calculations.

Process timesheets and hours for casuals via the Time and Attendance system.

Processing, reconciling and clearing month end figures.

Offer timely and accurate resolutions of payroll related queries.

Skills and Experience
To be considered, you will have the following skills:

Extensive experience in coordinating a range of payroll services including knowledge of and ability to comply with payroll procedures, awareness of tax obligations and the relevant legislation.

Ability to guide and provide timely service and response to staff on payroll related enquiries.

Strong Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation.

Self-starter with a proactive and solutions focused approach.

Solid Microsoft Office Package experience.

Sound communication skills, verbal and written.
