Bakery/ Café Manager required

Location: Sunrise Bakery Lyndoch
Type: Full-Time (including some rostered weekends and public holidays)
Salary: $65,000-$70,000 plus superannuation

About Us
Sunrise Bakery is a much-loved local café and bakery in the heart of the Barossa with three shops in Angaston, Truro and Lyndoch. We’re known for our fresh, traditional baked goods, quality coffee, and warm, welcoming service.

The Role
As Café Manager, you'll be responsible for our daily operations. You'll lead a team, ensure smooth service, demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service excellence, manage stock and suppliers, and help drive the café’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service

Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen staff

Maintain excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Manage staff rostering

Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards

Contribute ideas to help grow the business and enhance customer experience

About You:

Proven experience managing a café or similar hospitality venue

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Excellent customer service with a hands-on, can-do attitude

Organised and calm under pressure

Comfortable with ordering, roster planning, and cash handling

Barista experience is preferred
