About the Role

As our Community Liaison Officer, you will be the face of our organisation in the community—driving engagement, organising community events, supporting local initiatives, coordinating sponsorship grants and ensuring open, effective communication between stakeholders, residents, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, local councils, local businesses and residents.

Represent the organisation at community meetings, events, and forums.

Develop and deliver community engagement strategies and communication plans.

Identify and address community concerns and opportunities for collaboration.

Coordinate and support local events, consultations, and outreach programs.

Prepare reports and provide feedback to internal teams on community needs and priorities.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in community engagement, public relations, or a similar field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to attend events outside regular business hours when needed.

Current driver’s license.

Desirable Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Science, Communications, or a related field.

Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholder groups.
